North Bend Man Drowns in Southern Oregon Quarry

A North Bend man died while swimming at a southern Oregon Rock Quarry. 18-year-old Steven Roy Reynolds of North Bend was found unresponsive in the water at the Keno Rock Quarry. Witnesses said Reynolds had been swimming when he went underwater and didn’t surface. He was pulled from the water. Bystanders began CPR, but despite continued resuscitation efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities say the cause of death was determined to be drowning.
