North Bend’s Historic Properties To Be Reviewed

The City of North Bend is hosting a gathering to explore historic properties and learn about resources available to maintain and promote them on November 29th at 7pm at City Hall Council Chamber, 835 California Avenue, Downtown North Bend.

North Bend has numerous historic properties that are a part of the unique character of those communities. Interpretation and promotion of these special places adds to the economic health and livability of a community.

Oregon Heritage, that includes the State Historic Preservation Office, will present the results of a historic resources survey of downtown North Bend. They will also share information about grant programs, the Oregon Main Street program, and tax incentives that apply to both communities.

David Voss, North Bend City Planner, will provide information on North Bend’s new grant program.
