ORCCA to Discuss CEO Candidates at Special Meeting Tonight

The governing board of Oregon Coast Community Action has called a special meeting tonight discuss the final three candidates for the CEO’s position. ORCCA CEO Mike Lehman, who came to the organization in 2013, announced his retirement and the search for his successor began. Earlier this week ORCCA held a meet and greet with the candidates. They are Kim Brick, David Knight and Joshua Groesz [Growz]. Brick currently serves on the Coos Bay School District Board and is employed by South Coast Head Start. Knight is the Chief Operating Officer for Hines County Human Resource Agency in Mississippi. Groesz is Executive Director with Salvation Army overseeing operations in Oregon and Idaho. The ORCCA Board will discuss the candidates and may vote to extend an offer to one of the candidates. The meeting starts at 5 o’clock at ORCCA’s main office located off LaClair in Empire at 1855 Thomas Avenue in Coos Bay.
