Pemina Jordan Cove Expands Wetlands

Pemina Jordan Cove has started a process to expand the Kentuck Wetland Mitigation site from 33 to 100 acres. It will include a wide ranging habitat of mudflats, salt marsh, willowed scrub and shrubs and fish structures.  The project will also include Coho Salmon habitat restoration.  The area is northeast of Coos Bay, off Kentuck Way off East Bay Drive. Pemina Jordan Cove has already established a conceptual plan. The project is being conducted with NOAA Fisheries and other stakeholders on the project.
