Coos Bay Police have identified the suspect who is wanted in connection with the attempted armed robbery reported at the Cranberry Sweets Parking Lot in the Empire District of Coos Bay last week. 26-year-old Brandon Bryce Dawson of Orland, California is considered armed and dangerous. The incident that happened Thursday afternoon on February 7th. Dawson is described as a white male adult, 5’11”, and 178 pounds, with short brown hair and blue eyes. He has multiple tattoos on his arms, legs, neck, and head. The most notable is a neck tattoo, “2316” which may have been filled in or covered-up since the last photo authorities have on file. Probable cause has been placed for Dawson’s arrest for First Degree Attempted Robbery, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Menacing. Police believe he is armed with a handgun, is extremely dangerous and may be trying to make his way back to California.
