***Rotary Sets Up to Take Tax Deductible Donations for Fire Victims***

In response to the catastrophic loss of homes, businesses, and livelihoods for many Oregonians, Rotary has established a Fire Relief Fund to help victims of wildfires rebuild their lives. The tax-deductible donations will provide grants to partner organizations and individuals in need. Coos Bay-North Bend President Tim Novotny says Rotary’s reputation as an effective and committed humanitarian service organization ensures that funds raised get to where they are intended and help those who need them most.

Funds donated along with the power of Rotary International Foundation will help leverage the funds raised through public donations will help well into the future. Rotary has also established a statewide Fire Rehabilitation Task Force to provide experts in site restoration, utility infrastructure, community planning, home building, engineering and banking has been formed to help rebuild fire devastated areas.

Tax deductible donations can be made to the Rotary Club of Eugene Charitable Trust, a 501 (c) 3 organization. Mail those to PO Box 1184, Eugene Oregon 97440.
