SWOCC Student Tests Positive for COVID-19

A college student tested positive for COVID-19 at Southwestern Oregon Community College. The student tested positive yesterday and has not been to campus since the 23rd. Coos Health and Wellness is working with the college to ensure staff and students are aware as well as taking necessary precautions like self-monitoring daily. College Officials ask that if you are experiencing any symptoms to stay home and alert your healthcare provider. The college is taking measure to ensure the safety of its employees and students.
