What To Do With Your Discarded Christmas Tree?

The North Bend Fire Department has been providing the service of retrieving discarded Christmas trees after the holiday season for several years. Simply place your Christmas tree on the side walk next to your house. Members of the North Bend Fire & Volunteer Fire will be out in full force on Saturday, December 29th and the following Saturday, January 5th. North Bend Fire will gladly dispose of your Christmas trees for you.

This project contributes to a variety of causes in our community. In addition to removing the potential fire hazards of the trees in your homes, some of the trees will be used by the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife to enhance fish habitat in our local streams.

100% of the contributions received from this activity will be used to fund the “Kids for Christmas” program, a community outreach that provides food and gifts for less fortunate families here in North Bend. Your donation is greatly appreciated and it will be put to good use during the holiday season.
