Woman Arrested For Warrants And Suspended License


A woman is in custody for giving false information to Deputies and driving with a suspended license. Coos County Deputies initiated a traffic stop near Boat Basin and Metcalf Road in Charleston at 6:30pm on October 9th. During the stop, the female driver reportedly provided two false names and a false date of birth to the Deputies. After information provided by the female driver was not found in the Deputies’ computer system, 56-year-old Elizabeth B. McDonald gave Deputies her real name and date of birth. When McDonald was located in the system, it showed two active warrants and a suspended drivers license.
 
McDonald was arrested for the two warrants also charged with Providing False information to a Police Officer, Parole Violation, issued citations for Driving While Suspended, Driving without insurance and was taken to Coos County jail. McDonald is being held in lieu of $17,500 bail.
