Women Held in Connection With Amber Alert Released from Jail

Two women detained by Coos County authorities following an Amber Alert that resulted in the safe recovery of a six year old boy have been released. Terran Butler was reunited with his father after he was taken out of state without permission by his mother 43-year-old Emily Jolley. An Amber Alert was issued by the state of Utah and a nationwide search began.
Last week, Jolley and a second woman, 56-year-old Bonnie Jackson were arrested at a North Bend Apartment Complex. The boy, who was taken by Child Welfare officials, was reunited with his father. The two then returned to Utah. Over the weekend, officials from the Coos County Sheriff’s Office learned Utah officials would not extradite the women. According to a press release, since the warrants were restricted to Utah only, the women were both released from Custody.
